If zombies isn’t your thing, there are other great action movies on the burner that will really get your juices flowing. Shoot ‘em Up, an incredibly stylized John Woo-like action thriller, takes veteran actors Clive Owen, Paul Giamatti and Monica Bellucci to new heights of violence and mayhem. While these actors are not renowned for action, they certainly look believable in their roles. Clive Owen plays a mysterious gunman who delivers Monica Bellucci’s baby during a gunfight. Drawn to protect her and the baby, he takes care of business with an evil gangster, played by Paul Giamatti, who is gunning for the mother-child combo. A resident hottie in her native Italy, Bellucci just has to sit nice for the length of this super-lean 1.5 hour movie.
